The Detroit Underground (est. 1994) has earned the reputation of being a hard working, high energy show band featuring a very solid & funky rhythm section and "smokin" horn section. Topping it off are California's best male and female lead vocalists.

This powerful combination of dedicated musicians gives the band the ability to crank out tunes from artists such as BRUNO MARS, EARTH, WIND, and FIRE, CHAKA KAHN, and STEVIE WONDER. They also play great Motown hits and heart-felt ballads.

The Detroit Underground isn’t just another nightclub act, but a complete musical experience that is great for all occasions, from corporate functions to weddings to fundraisers. You can still catch their show at some of San Diego's premier dance clubs like HUMPHREY'S BY THE BAY, VIEJAS CASINO, TIO LEO’S LOUNGE, & VALLEY VIEW CASINO.
